2. I you are serious about this sport, you'll need training partners, and later a partner for tournaments.
And of course, you'll have to buy one beach volleyball.
3. If there is no beach volleyball court nearby, you have to set up one. The cheap version is a rope between two trees, but that's no fun... There are portable volleyball nets on the market. You can set it up in 5 minutes. The measuremnet of the lines takes a little longer. Of course, it's only possible on the beach, where you have unlimited amount of sand. If you're not lucky enough to live near the beach, court building is much complicated, I'll write about it in a latter post.
